Job summary

Neo4j seeks a visionary Tech Lead for AI to shape the AI capabilities of Hume, our connected data analytics platform. You will design the AI foundations, contribute code, and align technical decisions with product goals in a collaborative environment.

You will lead the development of Hume Maestro, ensure high-quality delivery, and partner with Product Managers and Scientists to scale AI capabilities across the platform.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Senior/Lead Engineer in AI/ML.
• Experience designing and deploying AI architectures.
• Ability to translate product vision into sound technical decisions.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Science stakeholders.
• Desire to lead and inspire a team.
• Background in B2B SaaS or deep-tech environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: design foundations and roadmap of the AI layer (Hume Maestro).
• Hands-on Engineering: contribute to codebase and set technical standards for AI components.
• Collaborative Governance: align execution with product vision in a shared decision framework.
• Cross-Functional Integration: work with front-end and platform engineers for seamless AI integration.
• Technical Quality: promote best practices in AI/ML engineering, deployment pipelines.
• Future Team Building: potential to build and mentor a dedicated AI engineering team.
