Job summary

Hunkemöller is seeking an AI Team Lead to build and run the AI Team, turning leadership priorities into production AI solutions. You will lead two engineers, collaborate with external partners, and own standards and platform choices for other teams.

The role emphasizes cross-functional influence, cost-aware decision-making, and healthy trade-offs between quick wins and robust, scalable AI implementations. Hybrid work with a focus on Hilversum area.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical product ownership or engineering leadership with small team.
• Hands-on cloud, APIs and language-model apps experience; Google Cloud a plus.
• Experience managing agencies/partners on fixed-scope work.

Responsibilities

• Translate AI priorities into scoped deliverables with owners.
• Decide build vs partner and manage fixed-scope agreements.
• Set AI platform criteria; manage Google Cloud agent platform.
• Own monitoring, cost, and incident handling for AI in production.
• Be go-to AI contact across the business; triage requests.
• Build AI Champions Network across departments.
• Lead and develop two engineers; cross-cover tasks.
• Track savings, adoption, and report to AI Board.
