Job summary

Venquis is seeking an AI Software Engineer to act as a horizontal AI specialist across Central Services. You will identify opportunities where AI can automate and enhance processes, shape use cases, and build robust AI-enabled systems from design to deployment.

You will work with Finance, Legal, HR, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions while ensuring security and governance standards are met. Fluency in Dutch and English is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience: 5-8 years as a software or AI engineer
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience building and deploying AI-powered tools or products: LLM apps, agents, copilots, or workflow automations

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where AI improves processes and decision-making across Central Services.
• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions, including LLM-based applications, backend services, and cloud deployments.
• Own full-stack AI projects, ensuring security, maintainability, and compliance with governance standards.
• Collaborate with internal IT, external vendors, and stakeholders to define scope, roadmap, and success criteria.
• Monitor performance and adoption of AI solutions and iterate based on feedback.
