Job summary

Ohpen is seeking a Data Extraction Specialist – AI to advance our AI-native extraction engine for mortgage documents in a cloud-native core banking context. You will configure DTA2, design and deploy LLM-based extraction, and build benchmarks to quantify improvements.

Qualifications

• Analytically strong with the ability to pick up new domains quickly.
• Technical engineering background with CS/SE/DE or an equivalent field.
• AI-native: design prompts and build benchmarks to show impact.
• Proactive self-starter in a small team with ownership.
• Excellent communication to explain trade-offs to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Improve extraction rates by configuring and tuning across document types.
• Roll out AI/LLM-based extraction, including prompt design and model selection.
• Build and maintain benchmarking loops to prove improvements and failures.
• Identify and implement engineering improvements across DocStreet, DTA2 and Orbis.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Lending Operations, and with clients.
