Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Engineer (AI-Native) based in the Netherlands.

You will own product features end-to-end, from identifying a problem to shipping reliable AI-driven solutions, working with AI agents as your primary development partners in a remote, international team. You will critically review AI-generated implementations to ensure reliability and quality while shaping architecture, integrations, and production readiness.

Qualificações

• Senior-level engineering experience owning complex production systems end-to-end.
• Background as backend engineer or software architect with practical delivery responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents as a primary part of daily development workflow.
• Interest in agentic software development and continuous learning of new tools and workflows.
• Strong ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive effort to measurable results.
• Strong critical-thinking and ability to improve AI-generated code and solutions.
• Experience working with external partners and distributed teams; English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Own product features end-to-end from problem statement through deployment and production.
• Identify what needs to be built and drive initiatives without detailed specs.
• Engage with external partners and service providers for integrations.
• Collaborate with AI agents to create product and technical specifications with ownership over quality.
• Delegate tasks to AI agents and review their output in large codebases.
• Evaluate AI-generated implementations for errors and reliability; refine solutions.
• Test and validate features with a focus on reliability of financial transactions handling.
• Take responsibility for architecture, integrations, deployment, and production readiness.
• Contribute to AI-first development processes and share insights with the team.
• Stay updated on agentic development practices and evolving AI tooling.
