Job summary

KLG Europe is seeking a Digital Automation Engineer to ensure the correct functioning and effective use of automation solutions within our business processes. You will work closely with IT, Supply Chain, and key users to deliver optimal process support and contribute to AI-driven automation initiatives.

You will be part of the IT department, report to the Team Leader Business Applications, and participate in KLG’s AI project group.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree level in IT-related field (HBO)
Experience with automation solutions and process-oriented work
Affinity with digitalization, data, and AI-related solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good command of Dutch and English

Responsibilities

Manage, optimize, and monitor automations and applications within KLG’s business processes.
Develop and implement process-oriented digital solutions in collaboration with IT, Supply Chain, key users, and vendors.
Provide second- and third-line support and ensure sustainable solutions and knowledge sharing.
Promote standardization and the correct and secure use of automations, applications, and data.
Prepare reports, documentation, and information services.
Identify opportunities, innovations (including AI), risks, and coordinate automation and improvement projects.
