Job summary

Finom is seeking an AI Process Owner for Transaction Monitoring and the Customer Lifecycle to drive AI automation in alert resolution. You will lead AI-driven investigations, develop AI agents, and redefine the alert resolution process while balancing automation with human oversight. Strong AML knowledge and data-focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fintech, bank, EMI or PSP environment.
• Hands-on experience in first line of defence alert resolution.
• Solid understanding of AML frameworks and practical application.
• AI-oriented with experience implementing AI in projects, not just experimentation.
• Knowledge of the limits of AI within transaction monitoring and regulators.
• Data analysis skills; familiar with Databricks, Metabase and Power BI; SQL advantageous.
• Customer-minded approach and end-to-end ownership.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own AI implementation for transaction monitoring alert resolution in production.
• Build AI-driven investigation capability across customers and transactions.
• Develop AI agents to take over manual analyst work with clear boundaries.
• Redesign the alert resolution process to balance automation and human validation.
• Define the AI/AML boundary and document defenses for regulators and audit.
• Support and upskill analysts during the transition to model validation.
• Work hands-on with data to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with AI, Data, Engineering, Product and Risk teams to translate needs into requirements.
• Maintain customer focus; ensure efficiency improves customer experience.
• Own documentation and process ownership for AML controls.
