Job summary

Finom is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and operate AI systems that solve business problems across onboarding, customer support, fraud, and automation. You will move from prototype to production, shaping solutions, building systems, and measuring quality with a focus on value for customers and the business.

The role spans end-to-end ownership of AI systems, performance, and reliability, collaborating with managers and engineers to integrate AI into real workflows and drive

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production AI systems.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with LLM applications (RAG, tool use, agents, evals).
• Experience integrating AI into backend or product workflows.
• Ability to design evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement loops.
• Experience with cloud infra and containerized deployments.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI-powered products and internal solutions using LLMs, RAG, tool calling, workflows, and agent patterns.
• Own AI systems end-to-end: problem framing, architecture, implementation, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Collaborate with solution managers, domain teams, and engineers to embed AI into real workflows.
• Design quality and evaluation frameworks for AI systems, including offline and online signals.
