Job summary

Finom is expanding its AI-driven transaction monitoring efforts within the Customer Lifecycle team to automate alert resolution and extend AI use across the customer lifecycle in the future.

You will lead the design and implementation of AI-powered alert resolution, validate models, and build end-to-end AI agents while collaborating with Compliance, Risk, Data, Product and Engineering to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and customer experience across Europe.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fintech, banking or AML/compliance.
• Hands-on experience in first line of defence alert resolution.
• Solid understanding of AML frameworks and how to apply them in practice.
• AI-oriented mindset with experience implementing AI in projects, not just experiments.
• Professional fluency in English.
• SQL and data analysis skills; Databricks, Metabase and Power BI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own AI implementation for transaction monitoring alert resolution — from identifying high-value manual steps to specifying the solution and running it in production.
• Understand the alert resolution process from pick up to false positive, true positive, or offboarding.
• Build AI-driven investigation capability across customers, suspicious transactions, and behavioral patterns.
• Build and iterate on AI agents that take over manual analyst work with clear boundaries and audit trails.
• Redesign the alert resolution process around AI; decide what is automated vs validated vs human-led.
• Define the AI/AML boundary and document it for regulators and audit.
• Support and upskill analysts through the transition to model and output validation.
• Work hands-on with data to identify inefficiencies and measure impact of changes.
• Partner with AI, Data, Engineering, Product and Risk teams to translate needs into requirements.
• Keep the customer in view — ensure efficiency gains improve customer experience.
• Own documentation and process ownership.
