Overview

As an Aftersales Engineer, you will ensure our systems keep running by maintaining, providing spare parts, and delivering quick solutions. You will be the main point of contact for international customer accounts, coordinating service, maintenance, and repeat orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess incoming requests, ask the right questions, and initiate necessary internal actions.
• Collaborate with departments such as Assembly, Software, Hardware and Procurement.
• Coordinate procurement, logistics and work preparation for all service requests.
• Identify commercial opportunities, prepare quotations and service contracts.
• Contribute ideas and actively work on improving service operations.
• Travel to customer sites and to our HUB in the United States for meetings or training sessions.

Qualifications

• MBO+/HBO-level education, preferably with a technical background.
• Experience in a technical support role such as Technical Internal Sales, Work Planner, Sales Engineer or Service Coordinator.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Decisive, proactive and customer‑oriented.
• Possibly able to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).

• Salary €3,400‑€5,148 per month (based on 40 hours).
• 27 vacation days plus 13 additional leave days (ADV) in accordance with the Metalektro collective labor agreement. Option to sell unused ADV days annually.
• Fixed monthly commuting allowance of €0,23 per kilometer.
