Job summary

Destinus is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to tightly integrate engineering with procurement, shaping how UAV hardware moves from design to scalable production.

You will lead industrialisation, evaluate supplier capabilities and drive cost-effective manufacturing methods, ensuring robust production ramp‑ups and cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, production and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering or supplier industrialisation.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
• Experience industrialising products from prototype to serial production.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier industrialisation from prototype through serial production.
• Optimize manufacturing methods (CNC, sheet metal, welding, additive, assembly).
• Drive design-for-manufacture/assembly and value engineering to improve cost and lead time.
• Evaluate supplier capability, capacity and manufacturing resilience for scale.
• Challenge routes, materials, tolerances, tooling concepts for scalable production.
• Support supplier qualification, first article inspections, and ramp-up activities.
• Drive supplier performance via industrialisation and process optimisation.
• Use data to identify risks and guide supplier development decisions.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Production, Quality and Procurement.
