Job summary

Akkodis Aerospace is seeking a Software PA Support Engineer (E3) to join our team working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. The role focuses on ensuring software PA activities comply with ECSS standards and ESA policy, supporting complex aerospace projects.

The candidate will evaluate contractor plans, monitor analyses, and participate in reviews, leveraging experience in software assurance, configuration management, and advanced tooling to drive project decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in software engineering or computer science with space engineering background.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional work experience.
• Familiarity with space product assurance practices and working tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to establishing programmatic and technical software PA requirements within ESA policy.
• Evaluate contractors’ plans, specifications and efforts for the S/W PA programme.
• Monitor and evaluate software PA analyses, reports and notes.
• Participate in project reviews, Config Control Boards, NCRs and SW reviews.
• Prepare design trade-offs and analyses using metrics for project decisions.
• Participate in software product evaluations and process assessments.
• Maintain databases to track NCRs, RFWs, actions, etc.
