Job summary

Akkodis Aerospace is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer for the ESA Test Facility (E3) onsite in the Netherlands. This temporary role supports environmental testing for space hardware within ESTEC programs and ESA activities.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Mechanics, Electronics, Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience in environmental test facilities for space hardware. The contract runs until 31/07/2027.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanics, Electronics, Aeronautics or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with design, operation and maintenance of environmental test facilities for space hardware.

Responsibilities

• Improve existing environmental test facilities and methods.
• Develop and implement new test facilities and methods for evolving space test requirements.
• Supervise and support maintenance, calibration, repair and operation of test facilities.
• Support the customers of the Test Centre.
• Participate in formal project reviews and tender evaluation boards (AIV panel).
