Job summary

GKN Fokker Aerospace is seeking a Program Director to oversee end-to-end program execution, from contract compliance to lifecycle management, with a focus on cost, performance, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires proven leadership across complex programs, excellent communication, and a track record of delivering results through cross-functional teams, including the IPT. The position offers a competitive package within the aerospace sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing complex multi-projects in an industrial environment.
• Proven leadership skills at board level.
• Excellent external and internal communication skills.
• Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies and best practices.
• Experience guiding customer projects through the full life cycle.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the Customer for all aspects of the program.
• Lead program execution in line with contract and business case throughout the life cycle.
• Oversee proposal process for follow-on work including changes.
• Chairs the Change Control Board and the Life Cycle Gate.
• Handle claims/changes with Commercial.
• Provide Customer Demand input to MPS and SIOP.
• Establish handshake with Operations.
• Support product performance and cost improvements.
• Deliver program financial results per KPIs.
• Develop the IPT as a team to maximize effectiveness.
• Create a Great Place to Work and champion the GKN Aerospace culture.
