Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Programme Financial Controller to join the Finance team in Papendrecht. The role focuses on supporting monthly consolidation reporting and the planning cycle, including forecast, budget, and strategic planning, while advancing finance operations standards.

Based in Papendrecht, you will collaborate across functions to analyze drivers of results and cash flow, contribute to business cases, and provide insightful financial analyses to stakeholders within a manufacturing

Qualifications

• A completed HBO/University degree in Finance or similar.
• 5+ years of similar experience as Business or Program Controller, ideally in manufacturing.
• Ability to collaborate with other functions within the programs for gathering, challenging, and summarizing key drivers of results and cash flow.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, especially in management reporting.
• Proactive, able to work independently, and eager to learn.
• Structured, able to plan own work and set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Hold responsibility for the accounting of the programs, including analysis and balance sheets.
• Prepare budget, forecast, and strategic plan for the programs.
• Assist in achieving programs' financial goals by providing analyses and recommendations.
• Contribute to annual planning processes by providing insight into sales, profit, and cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze actuals compared to budget, forecast, and previous year's figures, acting as a point of contact for Central Finance.
• Prepare various reports to present the analysis of financial results to stakeholders.
• Provide ad hoc reports, including margin analysis and monthly closure activities.
• Support program management in preparing and updating business cases and challenge the business with financial insights.
