Job summary

Groupe SII Netherlands in Haarlem is seeking a Certification Engineer to contribute to aircraft modification projects. As an EASA approved design organization, you will facilitate modifications with high expertise and work in an international environment.

You will define structures, assist in electrical design, lead design reviews, and prepare certification documents. A minimum of 5 years in aerospace and strong English communication are required, with a competitive salary and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in engineering with focus on Aviation/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant aerospace experience.
• Certification experience is essential.
• Fluent or proficient English required.
• Willingness to work in an international environment.
• Good sense of humor appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret customer requirements.
• Define and review aircraft structures and interiors (metal and composite).
• Assist in electrical design aspects of aerospace modification projects.

We are urgently seeking a skilled Certification Engineer to join our team and contribute to our aircraft modification projects. Sii Netherlands operates as an EASA approved design organization, enabling us to authorize both minor and major modifications to aircraft. Our Certification Engineers play a pivotal role in facilitating these modifications with their high level of expertise.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Analyzing and interpreting customer requirements
• Defining and reviewing metal and composite aircraft structures and interiors
• Assisting in the electrical design aspects of aerospace modification projects
• Conducting feasibility studies, defining design principles, and optimizing existing systems
• Leading design reviews and coordinating interfaces
• Preparing and reviewing technical/certification documents including change classification, compliance demonstration, flammability, etc.
• Conducting testing and evaluating test results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in engineering: Aviation and Aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
• Previous technical work experience
• Certification experience is essential
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work in an international environment
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Aerospace
• Ability to work on diverse and engaging projects
• Proficiency in English is mandatory
• A good sense of humor is appreciated
