Job summary

Groupe SII in the Netherlands is seeking a Certification Engineer to join the aircraft modification team, supporting design and certification activities throughout the lifecycle. You will ensure modifications comply with airworthiness regulations and contribute to innovative, efficient solutions.

The role requires an engineering degree in Aerospace or Mechanical (HBO level or higher), at least 2 years in aerospace, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international

Qualifications

Engineering degree in Aerospace or Mechanical (HBO level or higher).
Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace engineering.
Experience in certification and/or aircraft modifications.
Knowledge of cabin safety requirements is a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; English fluency.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret customer requirements.
Define and review aircraft modifications (structures, interiors, and electrical design).
Conduct feasibility studies and optimize existing systems.
Participate in design reviews and interface coordination.
Prepare and review certification documentation (change classification, compliance demonstration, flammability).
Support testing activities and evaluate results.
Ensure compliance with EASA certification requirements.
