Responsibilities
As our Certification & Verification Engineer, you are responsible for developing EASA/FAA approved repair procedures in order to generate cost‑saving solutions and avoid obsolescence on legacy aircraft platforms.
- Development and creation of cost‑saving engineering initiatives.
- Justification and verification of failure classifications in accordance with EASA/FAA regulations.
- Development of engineering solutions to avoid obsolescence on legacy aircraft platforms.
- Monitoring of new technologies, selection of potential applications and translation into repair development.
- Preparing, checking and approving certification reports.
Qualifications
- A completed HBO education in Engineering.
- Knowledge of system design and safety assessments related to Aerospace Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with aviation regulations, preferably EASA Part 145, Part 21 and FAA.
- A strong affinity with aircraft (component) design and operations.
