Certification & Verification Engineer

Join Fokker Services Group’s Capability Development team at Schiphol (Oude Meer) as a Certification & Verification Engineer.

Responsibilities

As our Certification & Verification Engineer, you are responsible for developing EASA/FAA approved repair procedures in order to generate cost‑saving solutions and avoid obsolescence on legacy aircraft platforms.

  • Development and creation of cost‑saving engineering initiatives.
  • Justification and verification of failure classifications in accordance with EASA/FAA regulations.
  • Development of engineering solutions to avoid obsolescence on legacy aircraft platforms.
  • Monitoring of new technologies, selection of potential applications and translation into repair development.
  • Preparing, checking and approving certification reports.
Qualifications
  • A completed HBO education in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of system design and safety assessments related to Aerospace Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with aviation regulations, preferably EASA Part 145, Part 21 and FAA.
  • A strong affinity with aircraft (component) design and operations.
