Job summary

agap2 Netherlands is seeking an Account Engineer to be the technical link between customers, engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and planning. You will translate customer requirements into technically feasible solutions, lead new product introductions from inquiry to delivery, and discuss specifications directly with customers.

Fluency in English is essential; Dutch and German are a plus. This role offers an international, collaborative environment with hands-on activities across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
• Strong experience in aerospace.
• Experience with project-based engineering and/or manufacturing.
• Experience with customer-facing & translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Affinity with process engineering and testing.
• Experience in cross-functional coordination (Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Planning).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Dutch and German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into technically feasible solutions.
• Lead new product introductions from request to delivery.
• Discuss technical specifications directly with customers.
• Prepare cost calculations and quotations.
• Coordinate engineering, testing and manufacturing activities.
• Assess change requests and production feasibility.
• Visit customers for technical meetings and project alignment.
• Contribute to Design for Excellence/manufacturability.
