Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV in Echt, Netherlands, seeks an Account Engineer who translates customer requirements into technically feasible and manufacturable solutions. You act as the primary contact across engineering, production, quality, purchasing and planning to ensure on-time product introductions.

You combine technical know‑how with strong communication and coordination skills, and you will drive product introductions from concept to delivery in a project‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in a technical field such as Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Work experience in aerospace is a strong requirement.
• Affinity with project-based work and business processes.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• German is a plus.
• Dutch and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth discussions with customers about technical specifications.
• Prepare cost price calculations and translate them into clear quotations.
• Lead product introductions as the technical project lead, from request to delivery.
• Visit customer locations for alignment, progress updates, and technical meetings.
• Ensure products can be produced and tested effectively within our processes.
• Assess change requests for completeness and technical feasibility.
• Coordinate test, manufacturing, and process engineering activities.
• Evaluate and advise on “design for excellence”.

As an Account Engineer, you are the key player in the process: you ensure that customer requirements are translated into technically feasible and manufacturable solutions.

You combine technical knowledge with sharp communication and strong coordination skills. This makes you the primary point of contact for your customers and the bridge between engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and planning.
