You will join a dynamic advisory team supporting clients through complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs.

As an Accounting & Transactions Consultant, you’ll help organizations strengthen their financial operations, enhance reporting accuracy, and build scalable finance structures to support growth.

Responsibilities of Accounting & Transactions Consultant

• Support clients throughout the transaction lifecycle by preparing and structuring key financial information.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of deals and timely decision‑making.
• Assess and optimize finance operating models to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business strategy.
• Design and formalize finance processes and internal controls, such as Purchase‑to‑Pay and Record‑to‑Report.
• Provide actionable insights to enhance financial transparency and decision‑making before, during, and after transactions.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across Corporate Finance, Strategy, and Operations to deliver integrated solutions.

Experience & Qualifications Required

• At least 3 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or Control – ideally as a Financial Controller, Accountant, or within transaction advisory; experience in a start‑up or scale‑up environment would be beneficial.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, or similar.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP).
• Proven analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
