Job summary

A global strategy consultancy is looking for an Accounting & Transactions Consultant to join their dynamic advisory team in Amsterdam. The role involves supporting clients through complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and optimizing financial operations. Candidates should have a Master's in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting. Fluency in Dutch and English is required. This full-time position offers the opportunity to enhance financial structures and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in Finance, ideally as a Financial Controller or Accountant.
• Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment would be beneficial.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP).

Responsibilities

• Support clients throughout the transaction lifecycle by preparing and structuring key financial information.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of deals.
• Design and formalize finance processes and internal controls.

Skills

Experience in Finance, Accounting, or Control

Fluency in Dutch and English

Strong analytical mindset

Strong communication skills

Education

Master’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, or similar
