Job summary

Haworth is seeking a Team Leader for the Holland, MI wood plant (2nd shift, 4X10 schedule). The role leads a distribution/production team to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals while coaching staff and handling production tasks as needed.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 3 years in a manufacturing team setting, PIT certification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Onsite work in Holland, MI is required with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PIT certification.
• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift/move products up to 50 pounds.
• Must work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Leads team to meet safety, quality, schedule, cost, culture, and environmental goals through coaching and training.
• Assumes production job responsibilities as needed.
• Launches daily schedules and assigns employees to meet workload.
• Serves as communication conduit between leadership and line employees and maintains team boards.
• Trains employees on new processes and updates training records.
• May supervise in supervisor's absence and participate in improvement projects.
