Haworth is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Holland, MI on 2nd shift. You will operate production machinery, set up equipment, and ensure orders are completed to spec.

Required qualifications include 2 years of manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and forklift certification eligibility. This role supports overtime and weekend work as business demands.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct change-overs, adjust tooling or tolerances.
• Verify parts received against tickets and monitor material flow.
• Document production nonconformance issues and maintain records.
• May operate a powered industrial truck and/or overhead lift.
• Rotate through department work centers as needed; work overtime as required.

Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Holland, MI on 2nd shift.

As a Machine Operator, You Will

• Operate assigned production machinery in accordance with company standards to complete customer orders.

Required Qualifications

• The ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
• 8th grade education or higher
• The ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs without assistance
• 2 years of prior manufacturing experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (hilo) certification
• Ability to flex work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business demands

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior machine operation experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to troubleshoot machines
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as gauges and tape measures
• Computer experience, including keyboard/mouse skills

Essential Functions

• Accesses electronic production system to determine daily schedule.
• Verifies parts received against pick tickets for accurate counts, colors, part numbers, and packaging. Monitors material flow and updates electronic production system accordingly.
• Selects the appropriate machine settings or program according to specifications.
• Sets up and operates machine. Makes minor machine adjustments. May make simple repairs.
• Performs change-overs (adjusts tooling or tolerances, selects programs, etc.).
• Investigates & documents production nonconformance issues.
• May be required to operate a powered industrial truck and/or overhead lift system.
• Rotates through department work centers based on business need.
• Works overtime as needed.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
