Moxy & Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam is seeking a 0-hour Food & Beverage Employee to join the team. You will assist in our bar and restaurant, prep simple meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and help guests enjoy a memorable stay.

The role emphasizes hospitality, flexibility across shifts, and collaboration with hotel teams. Part-time contract with opportunities to grow within Vertiq Hospitality and Marriott network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food & beverage service preferred.
• Good knowledge of English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in day-to-day operations of the bar & restaurant to meet policies and guest expectations.
• Taking, preparing, and serving orders from cocktails to dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly according to hotel standards.
• Ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and compliant with hygiene and safety rules.
• Maintain cleanliness of fridges, dishes and bar/restaurant furniture.
• Collaborate with front office for a seamless guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in the day-to-day operations of the bar & restaurant to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standards and aiming at satisfying and exceeding our guest’s expectations.
• Taking, preparing, and serving orders varying from cocktails, coffees to dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to our hotel standards.
• Making sure that all servicing & kitchen equipment are clean, well maintained and meet all hygiene, health and safety regulations paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the fridges, dishes and overall bar and restaurant furniture.
• Collaborate with front office to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
