Vertiq Hospitality Partners is seeking a Food & Beverage Employee at the Moxy & Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts. In this role you will provide excellent service in our bar and restaurant and showcase kitchen talents with breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food & beverage service preferred.
• Good knowledge of English; Dutch is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving and stress resistance.
• Proactive attitude and team spirit
• Passion for hospitality and service.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in the day-to-day operations of the bar & restaurant to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standards and aiming at satisfying and exceeding our guest’s expectations.
• Taking, preparing, and serving orders varying from cocktails, coffees to dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to our hotel standards.
• Making sure that all servicing & kitchen equipment are clean, well maintained and meet all hygiene, health and safety regulations paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the fridges, dishes and overall bar and restaurant furniture.
• Collaborate with front office to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
