A leading chemical company in Negeri Sembilan seeks an R&D specialist to lead projects in polymer technology. The role involves managing product scale-up and resolving technical issues while ensuring process performance. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience. Lead R&D projects by conducting polymers, focusing on innovation, productivity, cost efficiency and quality improvement.
Manage product scale-up and technology transfer from laboratory to pilot plants trials and full-scale production.
Conduct investigations, troubleshooting and provide solutions for technical issues, including customer complaint resolution.
Monitor and optimize process performance, working closely with production and QA/QC teams to ensure consistent quality and operational excellence.
Maintain laboratory instrument through calibration and preventive maintenance.
Plan, documents and report research activities with clear progress update and technical presentations to management.
Contribute to a safe, efficient and well-organized workplace by actively practicing 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor Degree in Polymer Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Engineering related Discipline.
At least 3 to 5 years experience in R&D, Technical experience in polymer technology.
Candidates must possess good inter-personal skills, independent, fast learner and self-motivated
Able to work independently and as part of a team
