Role Overview
Fairview International School is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Finance Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the school’s financial operations, supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management, ensuring they are aligned with the school’s operational goals and international financial standards.
Accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring that transactions are processed accurately and promptly. Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with collections as necessary.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with local regulations. Assist in tax reporting and liaise with auditors or tax authorities as needed.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and resolving any discrepancies identified during the audit process.
Track and manage departmental expenses, ensuring that all purchases are made within budget and in line with the school’s procurement policies.
Work closely with other departments to support cross-functional projects and provide financial insights that assist in decision-making.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ICAEW / ACCA / CIMA
Atleast 1 -2 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally within an international or educational institution.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Autocount Accounting Software) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering accurate financial reports and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support management in decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in managing financial data and resources.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in an international school or educational institution is highly desirable.
Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous, considering the diverse environment of the school.
