A procurement management company in Pasir Gudang seeks a Procurement Assistant to assist with sourcing, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have 1-2 years of relevant experience or be a fresh graduate, with basic knowledge of procurement and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in procurement or a related field; fresh graduates welcome.
- Basic knowledge of sourcing and negotiation techniques.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
Responsabilités
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials and office supplies.
- Maintain records of price lists and supplier information.
- Support preparation of monthly procurement reports.

Formation
- Assisted in the procurement of raw materials, office supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.
- Issued purchase orders (POs) and followed up with suppliers on order confirmations, deliveries, and discrepancies.
- Maintained accurate records of price lists, supplier data, and PO tracking in procurement systems or Excel.
- Worked closely with the warehouse and accounts team to verify goods received and resolve any issues with quantity or quality.
- Conducted basic supplier sourcing and price comparison to support cost-saving initiatives.
- Supported in preparing monthly procurement reports and helped monitor inventory levels for reordering.
- Ensured compliance with internal purchasing procedures and documented all related transactions properly.
Requirements:
- Around 1-2 years experience is suitable; fresh graduate also welcomed.
- Basic knowledge of sourcing and negotiation
- Communication and coordination with vendors and internal departments
