Job summary
A food manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks a laboratory technician to oversee daily laboratory activities and ensure adherence to quality control standards. Applicants should have a Diploma in Science or a related field and preferably possess at least one year of laboratory experience. Familiarity with ISO standards and a willingness to work shifts are advantageous for this role. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, maintaining lab safety, and keeping accurate records.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Science or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in a laboratory is preferred.
- Exposure to ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, Kosher and Halal is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily laboratory activities are carried out safely and per procedures.
- Conduct inspections and analyses of materials per Quality Control Plan.
- Perform instrument verification and calibration regularly.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and good housekeeping.
