Job summary
A leading fertilizer company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive. The role involves performing the Record to Report process, supervising financial statements preparation, and liaising with auditors. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of accounting standards. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Perform the Record to Report process and reporting for Fertilizers Business.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Liaise closely with internal & external auditors.
Skills
Education
To perform the Record to Report process and reporting for Fertilizers Business.
Responsible for Divisional Reporting and Statutory Reporting.
Perform Record to Report process including review journal entries/ accruals/ prepayment/ process flows and correction of errors.
Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reconciliations.
Analyze company's financial performance to produce accurate and complete reports.
Provide support to continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise closely with internal & external auditors and furnish relevant accounting records and working papers.
Perform ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the superior.
Candidates must possess at least Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (ACCA, MIA) or progress towards professional certification will be an advantage.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant working experience. Candidates with relevant experience in foreign currency activities will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (MFRS/ IFRS) and taxation.
Meticulous, organized, and able to handle multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Full time position is available, based at Menara Hap Seng.
Monday to Thursday : 9.00am to 6.00pm
Friday : 9.00am to 5.30pm
Alternate Saturday : 9.00am to 12.30pm
