Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Workplace Experience Manager to oversee teams delivering concierge, reception, meeting & events services, and related office duties within a designated building.

You will supervise staff, coach performance, coordinate daily activities, build client relationships, and drive process improvements while ensuring safety, vendor management, and compliant operations. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration across functions, and adherence to CBRE's values to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Build and maintain a trusted client relationship. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities.
• Ensure support provided by the team is efficient and consistent. Suggest process improvement efforts on a regular basis. Assist with developing strategic solutions.
• Assess technological and training needs for Workplace Experience teams and clients. Follow safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors.
• Develop vendor partnerships with cost-saving intentions. Manage negotiations for contract services. Confirm vendors have current insurance and contracts.
• Oversee programs run by third party vendors (food delivery, events, transportation, mail). Ensure invoices billed.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values. Influence parties to reach agreements.
• Apply knowledge of own discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
