Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Workday Specialist to be a key architect of our Workday ecosystem, supporting multiple modules and ensuring system health and project delivery.

You will translate complex business needs into automated Workday solutions, manage configurations, testing, reporting, and collaborate with HR, IT, and vendors to optimize processes and drive value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Workday HRIS and modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting.
• Proven project management experience; PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate business needs into system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Workday System Administration: day-to-day support, security, reports, data integrity.
• Lead HR technology projects from initiation to closure, including scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
• Translate HR needs into system requirements; optimize and automate processes in Workday.
• Configure and test Workday modules; execute test plans and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards for management.
• Create training materials and user documentation; provide end-user support.
• Liaise with Workday and other vendors to resolve issues and manage upgrades.
• Stay current with Workday updates and best practices; collaborate with HR, IT, and stakeholders.
