• 10+ years of software development and technology consulting in enterprise environments.
• 6+ years of enterprise integration development using Workato, webMethods, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar.
• Strong hands-on Workato development and integration solution design.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML; OAuth; Webhooks; event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Git, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions using Workato.
• Engage with clients to understand objectives, scope, and integration needs.
• Act as the primary technical contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead workshops, design discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
• Design, test, deploy, and troubleshoot integrations across SaaS apps, REST APIs, databases, and messaging platforms.
• Assess alternatives, suggest patterns and architecture approaches.
• Prepare documentation and support UAT, production deployments, and post-production activities.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, PMs, QA, and customer tech teams.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and security guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior consultants for reusable assets.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Workato Consultant to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions for UST clients. This is a client-facing technical role requiring strong expertise in Workato, integration architecture, APIs, cloud/SaaS integrations, and enterprise integration patterns.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, lead technical discussions, define integration approaches, and deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand business objectives, requirements, priorities, project scope, and integration needs.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions, technical workshops, solution walkthroughs, and design discussions.
• Estimate effort, timelines, implementation approach, dependencies, and technical risks.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and deploy enterprise integration solutions using Workato and other integration platforms.
• Integrate SaaS applications, REST APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Evaluate technical alternatives and recommend appropriate integration patterns and architecture approaches.
• Prepare solution design, configuration, deployment, operational, and technical documentation.
• Support UAT, production deployments, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and post-production activities.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and customer technical teams.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, integration governance, development, and operational standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies, providing regular project updates.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to reusable assets, best practices, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall experience in software development and technology consulting within enterprise environments.
• 6+ years of enterprise integration development experience using Workato, webMethods, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar integration platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience in Workato development and enterprise integration solution design.
• Strong understanding of:
• REST APIs, JSON and XML
• OAuth and authentication mechanisms
• Webhooks and event-driven architecture
• Experience integrating SaaS applications, databases, APIs, messaging platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Good understanding of Git/source control, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities across complex, multi-system integrations.
• Understanding of integration security, enterprise architecture, governance, and operational standards.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong client-facing, communication, technical consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
