Job summary

Pestec International Berhad is seeking an experienced Wireman for a contract-based role based in Perak. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

You will work with project teams to deliver on-site tasks and documentation. Requirements include a valid Wireman competency certificate from the Energy Commission and 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical installations and maintenance.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Wireman competency certificate issued by the Energy Commission (ST).
2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems, conduits, distribution boards, switchgear, control panels, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
Conduct regular inspections to identify faults, damage, defects, or potential hazards.
Troubleshoot electrical systems to resolve issues efficiently and minimize downtime.
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Ensure all works comply with Energy Commission (ST) standards and company safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, inspections, materials used, and time spent.
Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and project teams to ensure timely completion.
