Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Welding Technician to join our technical team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will install, service, and maintain a variety of welding machines and equipment, with on‑the‑job training provided.

With a minimum SPM or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Welding Technology, no prior experience is required; basic knowledge of welding systems is an advantage. The role suits hands‑on, detail‑oriented individuals eager to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Welding Technology or related field.
• No prior working experience required; training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical or welding systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, inspect, service, and maintain welding machines including MIG, TIG, ARC, and Spot welding machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding machine issues, perform calibration, replace worn parts, and conduct machine performance testing.
• Support operators with safe equipment usage, maintain service and repair records, manage spare parts inventory, and assist engineers with technical and process improvement projects.
