Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a welding assistant to perform basic welding and fabrication work, following simple drawings to assemble metal parts. This entry-level role offers training and a pathway to develop practical welding skills in a hands-on environment.

The position emphasizes attention to detail and the ability to understand simple instructions, with opportunities to learn fusion welding techniques and quality inspection in routine tasks at our Bidor site in Perak, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
• Able to read and understand simple drawings or instructions.
• Able to perform basic welding and fabrication work.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welders operate welding equipment in order to join metal workpieces together.
• They can use fusion welding processes based on different techniques and materials.
• They also perform simple visual inspection of welds.
