Job summary

YonMing Auto & Industrial Parts (B'worth) Sdn Bhd in Butterworth, Penang, is seeking a welding specialist to join the workshop team. The role requires basic welding knowledge and the ability to operate welding tools safely, with MIG, TIG, or Arc welding experience considered an advantage.

The candidate should be able to read simple technical drawings, demonstrate reliability, and work well independently or as part of a team in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge and experience in welding work.
• Able to operate welding tools and equipment safely.
• Experience in MIG, TIG, or Arc welding is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand simple technical drawings.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and welding standards while carrying out welding work.
• Perform basic inspection and maintenance of welding tools and equipment, and report any defects to the supervisor.
• Ensure welding work is completed according to quality and safety requirements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
