Job summary

Weldman Welding Industries in Pasir Gudor is seeking an Electrical Technician (Welding Equipment) to diagnose, repair, and maintain welding machines and related electrical equipment for optimal performance and safety.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; the role includes on-site work with an on-going emphasis on safety and record-keeping. Competitive salary with overtime opportunities and opportunities for development are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Certification: Valid Electrical Technician Certificate.
• Experience: Prior experience in repairing welding machines or similar equipment is an advantage.
• Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair welding machines and related electrical equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Replace faulty components and wiring.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Support other technical tasks as assigned.
• Support work in shipyards.

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

Salary: RM1,800 - RM1,900 per month + high overtime opportunities (usually RM1000-2000)

Working Hours

• 5.5-day work week
• Saturday half day
