Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Welder/Fitter to maintain and repair plant equipment and metal structures. You will perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on plant machinery, pipelines, and structures, while cutting, measuring, and aligning parts per technical specs.

The role requires hands-on fabrication experience, ability to read drawings, and safe use of welding tools. Work is in an industrial plant setting; independence and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in welding, metal fabrication, fitting, or equipment repair.
• Experience in MIG, TIG, or Arc welding.
• Hands-on experience in metal fabrication, fitting, or equipment repair.
• Able to read and understand basic mechanical or engineering drawings.
• Familiar with using welding and fabrication tools safely.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial or plant environment.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to work in an industrial or plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on plant machinery, pipelines, and metal structures.
• Cut, measure, fit, align, and assemble metal parts based on technical requirements.
• Repair and fabricate metal components when required.
• Assist with maintenance, installation, and fitting works at the plant site.
• Ensure all welding work is completed safely and meets quality standards.
• Support the maintenance team in equipment repair and improvement projects.
