Job summary

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Welding/Quality Inspection or related.
- Strong knowledge of ASME and API/NACE codes is desirable.
- Minimum 5 years in welding engineering in oil & gas or related sectors.
- Capable of leading teams and mentoring welders.
- Proficient with inspection and quality procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage and coordinate welding procedure qualification and welder qualification tests.
- Review supplier welding procedures, processes and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and applicable codes.
- Understand fabrication drawings, ASME, AWS and other codes.
- Provide mentorship and lead development of systems for production welding.
- Respond to client and vendor technical queries.
- Perform gap analysis of welding standards.
- Record welder qualifications and ensure code compliance.
