Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in the welding industry.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with welding techniques such as TIG and Orbital Welding.
• Understanding of cleanroom protocols and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations at UCT.
• Manage manpower planning and ensure smooth operation.
• Drive product quality and resolve line issues.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and support 5S activities.
• Guide the production team to meet on-time delivery goals.

Skills

Understanding of welding and machining procedures

Leadership and team management

Troubleshooting welding-related issues

Proficiency with blueprints

Communication skills

Knowledge of safety regulations

Proficiency in welding equipment

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
