Job summary

ULTRA CLEAN TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Welder I to join our fast-growing semiconductor support team. You will set up welding equipment, select methods, and produce weld coupons daily while maintaining 6S standards and quality.

The role requires at least 1 year welding experience and a Certificate Level 3 or Diploma in Welding Technology; you will read technical drawings and follow weld symbols, working in a cleanroom environment with proper PPE. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Certificate Level 3 / Diploma in Welding Technology from certified institute by MQA.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with welding symbols and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding parameters.
• Perform daily checks on welding equipment and 6S compliance.
• Execute work orders in SAP in real time.
• Verify welded assemblies meet print and dimensional requirements.
• Create weld coupons daily before production.
