We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1) to join our growing team. If you have strong welding inspection experience, a keen eye for quality and are passionate about delivering high-quality project results, we would love to hear from you!
Conduct daily welding inspections, including fit-up, visual inspection, NDE and surveillance activities, ensuring work progresses smoothly and without delays.
Review and submit inspection reports to clients accurately and on time.
Monitor and control weld repair activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements and project specifications.
Monitor and enforce quality control measures in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards.
Conduct daily quality observations and follow up on any non-conformities.
Monitor, address and close all punch list items in a timely manner.
Compile and maintain accurate Manufacturing Data Records (MDR) and relevant quality documentation.
Carry out welding inspection and other QC inspection activities as required.
Coordinate with the NDT team to ensure proper and timely completion of NDT activities.
Prepare and submit QA/QC reports accurately and on time.
Ensure all inspection and QC activities are properly documented and maintained.
Coordinate with project, production and other relevant teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
Perform other QA/QC duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior or management.
Diploma or Vocational Certificate in a relevant discipline.
Valid CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant welding inspection / QC experience.
Experience in at least 5 moderate-sized projects, preferably within the oil & gas, fabrication, pressure vessel or process equipment industry.
Good knowledge of welding inspection, QC procedures and relevant project requirements.
Familiarity with NDE/NDT inspection processes and coordination.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and manage inspection activities effectively.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and project requirements.
