Job summary

HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking a motivated Primary Banker to join the International Wealth and Premier Banking team, aiming to grow our wealth clients and cross-sell financial products with a focus on shariah-compliant solutions. You will build strong client relationships, assess financial needs, and promote digital channels to enhance client experience while adhering to regulatory policies.

This role requires integrity, excellent communication, and a proactive drive to achieve targets.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required.
With experience, minimum SPM with 5 credits.
Licensing in wealth products (PCE/TBE/CEILLI/FIMM) is advantageous.
Knowledge of personal banking products (cards, loans, deposits).
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Shariah knowledge competency.
Immediate local work rights and no relocation preferred.

Responsibilities

To increase sales revenue of HSBC’s financial products via various sales activities.
To build strategic relationship with existing customer and new customers.
To conduct market reviewing and understand customer’s financial need and requirements.
To promote and deliver our digital channel and Life Sign Technology to New to Bank or Existing to Bank customers.
To share digital know-how to customers to create awareness and increase the adoption rate.
To drive wealth referrals specifically investment needs to Premier colleagues.
To ensure compliance with products and sales policies, procedures and guidelines set by the Bank and the relevant authorities are adhered and complied to at all times.
Ensure high quality data input in customer records, transaction processing and reporting including but not limited to account opening, financing processing and other banking services.
Grow the Retail Amanah business while upholding high integrity and ensure branch’s adherence to shariah-compliant sales and service excellence.
