Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on software professional to own the end-to-end lifecycle for assigned banking applications, from analysis and design through development and support. You will implement system enhancements while maintaining bank standards and documentation.

You will provide Level 1–2 production support, monitor system performance, assist release engineering, collaborate with business users, and work with AI tools to improve conversational UX and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years in requirements, design, SDLC, business analysis within Retail Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Brokerage systems.
• Experience with Windows Server, UNIX Servers, OCP/Containers, Oracle DB / MySQL DB; Core Wealth Management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Production Support & Incident Management: provide Level 1 and 2 support for wealth management platforms; diagnose incidents to meet SLAs.
• Operations, Monitoring & Release Engineering: monitor performance, support deployments during maintenance windows, liaise across departments.
• Business Analysis & Systems Engineering: define system requirements, assess options, ensure changes meet specs.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: prepare and review tests for accurate implementations.
• Risk, Governance & Info Security: implement controls per bank standards and maintain SOPs and topology diagrams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Specialized Integration: liaise with business units, AI teams, and wealth management domain knowledge.
