Job summary

Standard Chartered in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced professional to manage end-to-end client asset transfers within Wealth Management. You will verify and process transfer requests, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure timely completion across multiple markets and custodians.

The role requires meticulous validation of ownership, eligibility, and custody details, with proactive communication to stakeholders and escalation of high-risk or aged transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end asset transfers across Wealth Management products, markets, booking centres, custodians, and legal entities.
• Validate transfer requests for completeness, validity, proper authorization, and required client/account/product/counterparty information.
• Coordinate with clients, frontline teams, relationship managers, product teams, counterparties, custodians, brokers, transfer agents, fund houses, depositories and internal operations to progress transfers.
• Maintain clear ownership, track case status, outstanding requirements, dependencies and target completion dates for each transfer.
