Standard Chartered is seeking a role focused on the timely, accurate settlement of Wealth Management transactions across multiple product lines. You will oversee end-to-end settlement activities, monitor positions, investigate exceptions, and coordinate with custodians, brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth processing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end settlement activities for Wealth Management products including equities, fixed income, ETFs, structured products, funds, FX, and other investments.
• Ensure settlement instructions are complete, accurate, authorised, and released within market, custodian, counterparty, and internal cut-off times.
• Monitor settlement positions, unmatched transactions, pending trades, failed settlements, market claims, cash requirements, and stock availability.
• Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions including mismatches, insufficient cash/securities, incorrect details, and system-processing failures.
• Coordinate with counterparties, custodians, depositories, brokers, transfer agents, market infrastructures, business teams, and internal support functions.
• Maintain oversight of trade matching, confirmation, settlement-status monitoring, and transaction booking across platforms.
• Ensure cash and securities obligations are reflected in nostro, custody, depository, suspense, stock, position, and balance-sheet accounts.
• Review cash, stock, position, and settlement reconciliation breaks within agreed timelines.
• Identify and escalate failed or at-risk trades before market or client deadlines.
• Assess the impact of settlement failures on client, liquidity, market, regulatory, and reputational aspects and take mitigating action.
• Monitor aged settlement items and ensure ownership and escalation dates are documented.
• Investigate and process settlement-related fees, penalties, market claims, and losses per procedures.
• Support corporate-action settlement events affecting open/pending/failed transactions.
• Ensure reversals, cancellations, amendments, back-valued transactions, and manual interventions are properly authorised and controlled.
• Maintain controls over release, instruction changes, standing settlements, and manual movements.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
