Bubble Gum X SDN BHD is seeking a Wax Therapist to provide professional hair removal services with a strong emphasis on comfort, safety, and hygiene. Training is provided and no prior experience is required—you should be flexible to travel to Bubble Gum Wax outlets.

You will consult with clients, tailor techniques to skin types, and educate on products and aftercare. You will also support reception, stock management, and maintaining a modern, welcoming environment.

Wax Therapist is responsible for providing professional and efficient hair removal services to clients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role requires expertise in various hair removal techniques, excellent customer service skills, and a thorough understanding of skin care and hair removal.

• Perform hair removal treatments on various body areas (e.g., face, legs, arms, underarms, bikini) using appropriate techniques, tools & products.
• Ensure customer comfort and safety throughout the hair removal process.
• Adapt hair removal techniques to different skin types and hair textures.
• Provide pre- and post- treatment care advice to customers.

Customer Consultation and Communication

• Conduct thorough consultations with customers to assess their needs, skin type, and any contraindications.
• Explain the hair removal process, address customer concerns, and answer questions clearly and professionally.
• Provide personalized recommendations for hair removal services and aftercare products.

Hygiene and Safety

• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in the treatment room and with all equipment.
• Adhere to strict sterilization protocols for all equipment and tools.
• Use disposable supplies where appropriate to prevent cross-contamination.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to minimize the risk of client injury or discomfort.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the products used in the salon, including their ingredients, benefits, and potential contraindications.
• Educate customers about the benefits of different products and aftercare options.
• Recommend and sell retail products related to hair removal and skin care.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build rapport with customers and create a positive and welcoming experience.
• Follow up with customers after appointments to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Encourage repeat business and client loyalty.

Teamwork and Support

• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth business operations.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as reception duties, stock management, or cleaning.

Training will be provided. No experience required.
