Job summary

HACH MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support growth in our Water Quality and Hydrology business. You will engage customers via phone, email, and video, manage the end-to-end sales cycle for an assigned portfolio, and collaborate with field sales and cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The successful candidate will have a Chemistry/Environmental Science background and 2–3 years in inside sales or related customer-facing work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrology, or related technical discipline.
• 2–3 years inside sales, technical sales, customer service, or a comparable customer-facing role.
• Experience in water quality, hydrology, wastewater, municipal water, environmental monitoring, laboratory instrumentation, or industrial markets preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed revenue targets through proactive virtual customer engagement and lead management.
• Conduct outbound customer outreach via telephone, email campaigns, and follow-up activities.
• Manage the complete sales process for an assigned customer portfolio, from lead qualification to order placement and payment collection.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to retain, regain, and expand business.
• Coordinate with finance, customer service, supply chain, and logistics teams to support order processing and timely shipment.
